Age vs. attitude in mature job seekers is topic of St. Thomas Job Ministry meeting Feb. 21
If you’re a mature job hunter who feels your age may be affecting chances for employment, plan to attend the next St. Thomas Job Ministry meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, and find out that “It’s Not the Age, It’s the Attitude” that counts. Suzanne Edgar, executive coach at Right Management in Oak Brook, will explore this question in the Lighthouse room of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Parish, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.
Edgar, who has helped hundreds of job seekers in their search for meaningful employment, will examine age-related road blocks in a job hunt and explore strategies that could help eliminate such problems. The program is free of charge.
At Right Management, Edgar conducts Executive Coaching and facilitates group workshops for job seekers. She holds a Ph.D. in speech communications and has been adjunct professor in the MBA program at Dominican University in River Forest.
